Yummy Chocolate Chip Cookies

After picking up my 3-year-old daughter from preschool, we baked chocolate chip cookies. I got the recipe from http://allrecipes.com/cook/18831543/, which turned out to be really yummy. I'm not even a baker and I didn't think I had it in me to be one. This recipe was pretty easy and I was happy the way the cookies turned out, soft and chewy. The only tweak I would make next time is to only make half a batch for my family and to cut some of the sugar since the chocolate chips already added enough sweetness. Overall, I'm happy with my first domesticated baking adventure and look forward to more.
